The subcommittees will hear testimony from the following witnesses:

The House Homeland Security Subcommittees on Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection and Oversight and Management Efficiency are holding a hearing Wednesday affternoon at 2:00 p.m. on "Examining DHS' Efforts to Strengthen Its Cybersecurity Workforce." The subcommittees will hear testimony from the following witnesses:

  • Gregory Wilshusen, Director of Information Security Issues at the Government Accountability Office
  • Angela Bailey, Chief Human Capital Officer for the Management Directorate at the Department of Homeland Security
  • Rita Moss, Director of the Office of Human Capital in the National Protection and Programs Directorate at the Department of Homeland Security

The House Armed Services Committee is holding a hearing Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. on "U.S. Strategic Forces Posture and the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget Request." The committee will hear testimony from the following witnesses:

  • Gen. John Hyten, Commander of U.S. Strategic Command (Prepared Testimony)
  • John Rood, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy
